MALATYA MOSQUE
Mosque buildings constitute a unique subgroup within architectural practice. They have a functionally simple but contextually multi-layered structure. In the design, first of all, the concept of the mosque was examined in depth and a linear mass formation was created that would strengthen the concepts such as gathering, calling and unification that lie at its core. In this context, while designing the building, a hybrid form was sought that was synthesized with the contemporary understanding of architecture and had traces of tradition.
